Shift Type: Per diem, 8.5-hour shifts, varied days and times

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Capture high-quality diagnostic images using X-ray equipment
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process
Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed at all times
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues
Provide compassionate care and comfort to patients

Qualifications

Are you a certified Radiologic Technologist with a Louisiana license?
Current ARRT certification required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of anatomy and radiographic positioning
Proficient in operating X-ray and imaging equipment
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
