Shift Type: Monday-Friday (typical), Either 5x8 (start 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM) or 4x10 (start 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM — corresponding end times ~8:00 PM or 9:00 PM), Day 4x10 option 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 2nd shift options available; call required (weekday and weekend rotation, weekends every other)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert C‑arm and O‑arm coverage in the Operating Room to support surgical teams
• Perform high-quality X‑ray procedures for intraoperative imaging and surgical interventions
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
• Adhere to radiation safety and OR protocols to protect patients and staff
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with imaging advances
• Support specialty procedures including vascular, cardiac, and interventional cases as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification with ARRT registration required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (preferably in Level I Trauma or teaching hospital settings)
• Proven proficiency operating C‑arm and O‑arm imaging systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for OR team collaboration
• Comfortable with call responsibilities, including weekday and alternate weekend coverage

Education

• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification required
• Current BLS required (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in Level I Trauma or teaching hospital environments preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• C‑arm and O‑arm operation and intraoperative imaging techniques
• Surgical radiography and OR workflow
• Familiarity with PACS and image documentation
• Contrast use and hemodynamic monitoring basics
• Experience with interventional and vascular procedures (angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filters, etc.)
• Exposure to hybrid OR cases (TAVR, ECMO, complex endovascular repairs) and cardiothoracic/vascular imaging
• Equipment knowledge such as GE Innova IGS and general OR imaging devices
