Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support inmate mental health
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that make a real difference
Provide expert counseling and crisis intervention services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Document progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care
Advocate for patient needs within a secure correctional environment

Qualifications

Active Psychologist license in California
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
BLS certification preferred
Experience in correctional or forensic psychology a plus
Strong commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care

Education

Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse populations
Crisis management and de-escalation techniques
Familiarity with correctional healthcare protocols
Cultural competence in working with underserved communities
