Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality non-invasive cardiology care across inpatient, outpatient clinic, and call settings
• Perform and interpret Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and incorporate findings into patient care plans
• Supervise and mentor four advanced practice clinicians (APCs) to optimize team-based care
• Manage inpatient admissions and follow-up care (average inpatient admissions ~12–15 per physician per day during coverage)
• Collaborate with the existing cardiologist(s) and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Document clinical encounters and care plans accurately in EPIC

Qualifications

• Board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist (explicitly required)
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice, including call coverage
• Proven ability to supervise and lead APCs (4 APCs during coverage)
• Comfortable performing and interpreting EKGs
• Experience using EPIC or similar EMR systems
