Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Treat a diverse caseload including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patients in a home health setting
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to help patients regain independence
Manage 5-6 patient visits per day with a focus on quality care
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and adjust treatment plans
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner charting system

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license
Current BLS certification from AHA
Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
Ability to provide 2 supervisor references (1 within 12 months, 1 within 3 years)
Must not have been directly employed by a CommonSpirit facility within the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in home health or community-based therapy
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system
Strong time management skills to handle a daily caseload of 5-6 patients
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Adaptability to treat a variety of diagnoses and patient needs
