Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-29-2026

End Date: 08-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Help patients recover from general medical conditions, joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and strokes
Collaborate with a dedicated rehab team to create personalized treatment plans
Support patients through their most critical moments of healing and recovery
Document progress and adjust care plans to maximize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current California PT license required
BLS certification
Acute Inpatient PT experience is required
Strong clinical skills in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions

Knowledge & Skills

Acute inpatient physical therapy expertise
Experience with post-surgical joint replacements and spinal procedures
Comfort working in fast-paced hospital environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
