Shift Type: Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week; no on-call or weekend requirement

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Prepare the OR and instruments, maintain sterile field, and anticipate team needs
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
Monitor patient status and document perioperative care accurately
Participate in specialty competency testing and skills checklists
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) credential and active license (license verification required)
BLS certification required
Experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing or perioperative care preferred
Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
Current immunizations and health screening: Fit test, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, 2-step PPD/IGRA, Varicella, Tdap
Clear Trinity 10-panel drug screen and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative infection control
Familiarity with surgical instruments, equipment setup, and OR workflow
Ability to assess and monitor patient status in the perioperative period
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced surgical settings
Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to competency standards
