Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 2 weekend days per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate occupational therapy to patients in skilled nursing and inpatient acute care settings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR
Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of diverse diagnoses including CVA, TKA, THA, and COPD

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT
Comfortable working in both skilled nursing and acute care environments
Ability to provide two supervisory references from recent assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between facilities as needed
