OB/GYN Physician

Location: Grass Valley, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 7:00 AM start times with on-call coverage

Candidate Pay Rate: $133 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including deliveries averaging 23-30 per month
Perform C-sections in our dedicated Family Birthing Center operating room
Deliver ED call coverage for OB/GYN related issues
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and pediatricians
Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient care efficiently
Support families through the full spectrum of women's health needs

Qualifications

Board Certified OB/GYN or Board Eligible within 5 years
Active California medical license
DEA certification required during credentialing
Current certification by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Demonstrated performance of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past two years
Clean malpractice history preferred

Education

Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in all OB/GYN procedures and surgical techniques
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently with 24-hour on-call responsibilities
Experience managing both routine and complex deliveries
