Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As needed, flexible shifts (day, evening, night, and weekend shifts available)

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing on patient specimens
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with precision
Verify results and report critical values to clinical staff
Follow strict quality control and safety protocols
Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals

Qualifications

Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required (ASCP or equivalent)
Valid state licensure if applicable
Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in laboratory information systems (LIS)
Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and safety regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
