Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients and create a welcoming, reassuring experience from check-in to departure
Obtain and record vital signs and patient histories accurately and efficiently
Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians during routine procedures
Coordinate patient flow to keep the day moving smoothly and reduce wait times
Manage documentation and update electronic health records with attention to detail
Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed for every patient
Communicate clearly with patients about next steps, follow-ups, and lab/scan instructions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but we welcome motivated newcomers
Strong communication, empathy, and customer-service skills
Ability to perform basic clinical tasks and use EHR systems accurately

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or completion of an accredited MA program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing routine clinical measurements
Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer skills
Knowledge of infection control and standard clinical safety practices
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
Patient-centered mindset with good verbal and written communication
