Shift Type: Per diem, 10.5-hour shifts, as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Assist healthcare providers with exams, treatments, and minor procedures
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms
Administer medications and immunizations as directed
Perform routine laboratory tests and specimen collection
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms
Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations
Document patient information accurately in EHR systems

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential
Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Experience in ambulatory care or outpatient setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional patient service and empathy
