Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and assist clinical staff with ambulatory procedures
Obtain and document accurate patient histories and vitals
Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection and administering injections as allowed by scope
Maintain neat, efficient exam rooms and assist with patient flow to keep clinics running smoothly
Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to ensure a positive patient experience
Support charting and documentation to ensure accurate medical records

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong patient communication skills and a professional bedside manner
Previous ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus
Ability to stand and move throughout a clinical shift and perform clinical tasks

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant program completion or certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or willingness to learn
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ambulatory setting
Good interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patient populations
Basic infection control and safety practices
