Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient intake and ambulatory procedures to ensure efficient clinic flow
• Document patient vitals, histories, and visit details accurately and promptly
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
• Support patient education and follow-up instructions to improve outcomes
• Coordinate with the care team to streamline appointments and referrals
• Perform point-of-care testing and basic clinical tasks within scope of practice
• Participate in orientation and training to maintain high-quality care standards

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a busy clinic environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (work authorization requirements to be confirmed during hiring)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma/certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with patient intake, vitals, and basic clinical procedures
• Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
• Team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
