Bill Rate: $73,008.00 - $109,491.00 per year

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the women's health section of radiology, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Perform mammography and other radiologic procedures following established protocols and physician orders.
Maintain compliance with FDA guidelines, accreditation standards, and radiation safety (ALARA).
Coordinate training and development in breast imaging, and suggest improvements to procedures and policies.
Manage patient records, including medical history, informed consent, and accurate EHR documentation.
Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, coordinating service repairs when necessary.
Assist in other modalities as needed, and support clerical duties, patient transport, and supply management.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold CHOICE values and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Current ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
Two or more years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, or MRI technologist preferred.
Cross-training in CT, MRI, DEXA, and experience with PACS, RIS/HIS, and EHR are a plus.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in mammography imaging procedures and radiation safety.
Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
Strong patient communication and education skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to flexible schedules.
Familiarity with electronic health records and imaging systems.
