Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for adult and geriatric patients in both clinic and hospital settings
Manage a diverse caseload with 70 percent oncology and 30 percent hematology focus
Collaborate with a single physician team to deliver high-quality treatment plans
Utilize Epic EMR to document and coordinate seamless patient care
Round on 2-8 hospital patients and see 12-25 outpatients daily

Qualifications

Board Certified in Medical Oncology required
Board Certified in Hematology highly preferred
Active Virginia medical license required
Current BLS certification required
COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M if requested by facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong background in Medical Oncology and Hematology
Comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient adult populations
Proficient with Epic electronic medical records
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
