Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and timely reporting of changes
• Support daily living activities to promote resident dignity and comfort
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to keep skills current and relevant

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent in New Hampshire
• Completion of a state-approved nurse aide training program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
• Compassionate patient-care mindset with good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved Nurse Aide/LNA training program and valid LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic nursing assistant procedures and resident care standards
• Comfortable with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Strong observational skills to notice subtle changes in condition
• Good documentation practices and basic computer/charting familiarity
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
