Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, intervening as necessary
Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and emergency procedures
Educate patients and families on birthing process, breastfeeding, and newborn care
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe outcomes

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio
BLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of fetal monitoring and interpretation
Proficiency in labor induction and emergency interventions
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Team collaboration and adaptability
