Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric patients, helping them maintain dignity and comfort
Assist with daily living activities to enhance patient quality of life
Monitor vital signs and report changes to ensure timely interventions
Support a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable residents
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current state or federal issued ID and photo badge for facility access
Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented exemption
Passionate about caring for elderly patients with empathy and skill

Education

GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in geriatric care techniques
Strong observational skills for patient monitoring
Excellent communication with patients and team members
Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
