Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to geriatric patients, helping them maintain dignity and comfort
- Assist with daily living activities to enhance patient quality of life
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to ensure timely interventions
- Support a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable residents
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Current state or federal issued ID and photo badge for facility access
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented exemption
- Passionate about caring for elderly patients with empathy and skill
Education
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in geriatric care techniques
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring
- Excellent communication with patients and team members
- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
