Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education
Assess patients' oral health and identify areas of concern
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
Current CPR certification required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in scaling and root planing techniques
Knowledge of dental software and digital charting
Understanding of infection control protocols
Strong patient education and motivational interviewing skills
