Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging while following established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures with compassionate care
• Operate and maintain CT and radiography equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Follow radiation safety practices and maintain accurate imaging records
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to support timely diagnosis
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists
• Adhere to infection control standards and pre-employment health requirements

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (required)
• Current Oregon radiology license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Practical experience in CT and general radiography/X‑ray
• Comfortable working night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights)
• Ability to pass Trinity-specific competency testing and license/certificate verification
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations as listed (drug screen, fit test, color vision, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, flu, TB screening, varicella, physical/health statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Solid skills in conventional radiography and patient positioning
• Radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Familiarity with PACS and radiology documentation workflows
• Good communication skills for clear patient instruction and team coordination
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and prioritize tasks
