Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams, positioning accurately
Maintain equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Document patient history and technical details for accurate records

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ARRT certification in Radiography or CT specialty strongly preferred
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT scanning techniques and contrast administration
Strong understanding of anatomy and cross-sectional imaging
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot issues
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
