Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Trauma/Neuro/Ortho

Location: Boise, ID

Start Date: 07-19-2026

End Date: 10-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, with weekend call requirements (Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) and occasional holiday call; may be asked to stay up to 2 hours past shift to cover cases.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert surgical assistance during trauma, neuro, and ortho procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
Anticipate surgeon's needs and pass instruments smoothly
Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
Collaborate with OR team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or NCCT
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in trauma, neuro, and ortho surgery

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic technique
Proficiency in trauma, neuro, and ortho surgical procedures
Ability to handle high-pressure situations in the OR
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to cover call shifts as needed
