Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday (typical day shift hours)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADL performance, functional mobility, and independence
Accurately document treatments using Net Health electronic medical records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient progress and discharge planning
Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on adaptive equipment and home safety strategies
Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and facility documentation standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current California COTA license (or eligibility)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred, but motivated new graduates welcome
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude with a passion for patient-centered care

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy and ADL Training
Functional Mobility and Patient Education
Documentation and Collaboration
Proficiency in Net Health EMR
CPR/BLS certified
Skilled Nursing Facility experience a plus
