Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral observations
• Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe transfer and mobility techniques to prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state certification
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospice is a plus
• Clear background check and up-to-date health screening/tuberculosis testing
• Reliable transportation for per diem/night shifts and professional, team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of ADLs and basic nursing care
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Basic charting/EHR comfort and accurate documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm during busy night shifts
