Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, promoting dignity and independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in the patient record
Collaborate with the care team to ensure each patient receives personalized attention

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — must be active and valid
Authorized to work in California and meet state CNA requirements
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care with empathy and professionalism
Orientation attendance required as part of onboarding
CPR/BLS preferred or willing to obtain (employer may offer assistance)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Active CNA certification as required by California

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Able to take and accurately record vital signs
Basic patient safety, positioning and transfer techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with infection control and basic clinical documentation
