Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate bedside care and comfort that promotes dignity
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Perform routine documentation and charting accurately and promptly
Support safe transfer and repositioning techniques to prevent injuries
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered care with respect and empathy

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Must be eligible to work in New Mexico and able to commute to Silver City
Comfortable and experienced with overnight shift responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care for adult or geriatric populations
Willingness to pass required background checks and facility screening

Education

CNA certification required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong hands-on patient care skills and ADL assistance
Clear and timely documentation and communication
Basic patient safety and infection control practices
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
Good time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
