Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and support to residents
Support the nursing team with basic clinical tasks and monitoring
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
Help uphold infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California (required)
Willingness to attend the provided orientation (orientation is required)
Ability to pass background check and TB screening as required by facility
CPR/BLS certification preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
Teamwork and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
