Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices
Document patient care activities accurately and timely, supporting continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-registered) required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary care team
Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-first approach
Willingness to attend required facility orientation

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care principles
Skilled in safe patient handling and infection control practices
Good charting habits and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced care setting
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
