Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Perform routine patient care tasks like feeding, turning, and toileting with dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Document care accurately and communicate observations to nurses and supervisors
Build compassionate connections with patients and their families to enhance comfort

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical tasks
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

CNA certification required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and personal care techniques
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation skills, attention to detail
Compassionate patient communication and teamwork
