Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 05-26-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly and clearly
Support safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Document care accurately and timely in patient records
Collaborate with the care team to create a comfortable environment
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

Qualifications

Current/state CNA certification in good standing
Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable with patient lifting and physical aspects of the role
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control
Ability to observe and report patient changes accurately
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
