Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 05-24-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, days and specific start/end times to be confirmed (schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with the team
Help create a welcoming, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical care and vital signs monitoring
Safe patient handling and infection control practices
Accurate documentation and time management
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses
