Start Date: 05-26-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shift (exact start/end times to be confirmed with facility; typical day schedule)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on resident care including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility assistance
Assist nursing staff with daily clinical tasks and accurate documentation
Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, promoting dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED (see education section)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
Previous long-term care experience preferred but new grads with strong caregiving skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and infection control practices
Ability to provide personal care and assist with ADLs
Comfortable with resident transfers and mobility assistance
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork mindset and effective communication with clinical staff
