Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific days and exact start/end times to be confirmed with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
Support dining and feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort
Document care activities accurately and communicate with nursing staff and families
Participate in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Comfortable working an 8-hour clinical shift and delivering hands-on care
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
CPR/BLS certification preferred (if not, facility may offer assistance)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on skills for activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to observe and recognize changes in resident condition
Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care and team collaboration
