Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with timely and accurate vital sign collection and observations
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document resident care and changes in condition clearly and promptly
Maintain infection control standards and facility safety procedures
Collaborate with fellow caregivers and nursing staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of state-required background checks and health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including lifting and prolonged standing

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable with resident transfer techniques and mobility assistance
Good documentation and interpersonal communication skills
