Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and safe transfers while helping maintain resident dignity and comfort
Document care activities clearly and promptly — accurate notes matter
Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
Brighten residents’ days with friendly interactions and emotional support

Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania CNA certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtainable upon hire)
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a team-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED; Pennsylvania CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
Basic clinical skills including measuring vitals and assisting with ADLs
Knowledge of infection control, PPE use, and safety protocols
Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
Ability to provide compassionate care and de-escalate sensitive situations
Comfort with basic documentation and electronic charting (if applicable)
