Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (schedule varies), Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive, compassionate direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
Support the nursing team with timely documentation and clear communication
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Build trusting relationships with patients and families to enhance their care experience

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active CNA license or registration in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (assisting with transfers and mobility)

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation practices
Infection prevention and safety protocols
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and the care team
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with electronic or paper nursing documentation systems
