Shift Type: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team to report changes
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control practices
Document care thoroughly in the facility charting system

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification for New Mexico (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus
Ability to work Wednesday–Friday night shifts reliably
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
Familiarity with basic charting/EMR systems and documentation practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Teamwork, time management, and strong observational skills
