Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting needs
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Assist with transfers and positioning using safe patient handling techniques
Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering respectful, patient-centered support

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state of Georgia) required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
Previous clinical or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care principles and patient hygiene techniques
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
Infection control and standard precautions
Observation and documentation of patient conditions
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to follow care plans
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
