Mobile X-Ray Tech – UHC Staffing

Mobile X-Ray Tech

Location: Sacramento, CA (may visit Walnut Creek, San Jose & Santa Cruz)

Shift Type: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (specific start/end times and exact days not provided)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform mobile radiographic exams with care and precision, delivering high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
Operate and maintain portable X-ray equipment, keeping it clean and ready for use
Document procedures and accurately enter imaging information into patient records
Communicate clearly with patients and fellow care team members to support coordinated care
Travel between assigned locations as needed and manage time effectively across shifts

Qualifications

Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray certification or state licensure as required
ARRT certification preferred where applicable
Previous mobile or radiography experience preferred, though entry level candidates will be considered
Ability to commit to full-time schedule or to those part-time minimums
Reliable transportation and comfort traveling between assigned locations

Education

Certificate or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and image quality
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control
Comfort operating portable X-ray equipment
Good patient care and communication skills
Basic documentation skills and familiarity with electronic patient records
