Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to patients in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients on balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapy
• Administer medications, including drips, and perform cardioversion
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and patient care techs
• Document patient progress using Meditech EMR system
• Ensure patient safety and positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Eagerness to work in a large facility with a driven and organized team
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
• Compact or state nursing license in Kansas

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in critical care procedures: balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion
• Experience with central lines and medication drips
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
