Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care using the nursing process
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians on patient conditions and treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain high standards of care in the Telemetry Unit
• Document patient assessments and outcomes accurately in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Skilled in applying the nursing process to patient care
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the healthcare team
