Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate speech and language therapy to patients in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient speech therapy preferred
• Ability to pass Prime's drug screening, background check, and health requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of speech therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Proficiency in electronic medical records documentation
• Time management and organizational skills to handle a busy schedule
