Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patient vitals, hemodynamics, and conscious sedation throughout procedures
• Administer medications and contrast agents safely and accurately
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies in the Cath Lab
• Document patient status, procedure details, and outcomes in real time
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients before, during, and after procedures

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Nevada (or compact state, if applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Cath Lab or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to think quickly and act decisively in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization procedures and sterile technique
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Radiation safety practices in the Cath Lab
• Patient assessment and critical care monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
