Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe, high-quality patient care in the ICU
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care and maintain standards of care within the ICU
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Float to MST (Medical/Surgical Telemetry) when needed

Qualifications

• Current and valid California RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care
• EPIC EMR experience required
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
• Willingness to float to MST as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing expertise
• Hemodynamic monitoring skills
• Strong understanding of the nursing process
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• BLS and ACLS certification
• CCRN certification preferred
