Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 26-bed MICU
• Monitor hemodynamic status, manage ventilators, and administer medications
• Perform moderate sedation and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience required
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Travel experience and prior Meditech experience preferred
• Sono IV and CRRT skills highly valued
• Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and airway management
• Comfortable with electronic medical records, especially Meditech
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment
