Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mother-baby couplets
• Monitor and manage postpartum patients, including those on Magnesium Sulfate
• Perform newborn assessments and assist with circumcisions
• Educate new parents on breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery
• Collaborate with L&D and NICU staff as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby nursing experience required
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Travel experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of postpartum complications and MgSO4 management
• Proficient in EMR (Cerner)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide compassionate patient education
