Ultrasound Technologist - OB/GYN and Vascular
Location: Franklin, North Carolina
Start Date: 08-09-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Friday-Tuesday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirement (one night per week and one weekend per month)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and breast studies
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and accurate preliminary reports for radiologists
- Operate state-of-the-art GE Logic E10 and other equipment with precision
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a 30-bed critical access facility
- Maintain patient-centered care and efficient exam turnaround times (30-45 minutes per exam)
Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required; RVT preferred
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN and vascular ultrasound experience
- Ability to scan general ultrasound with vascular proficiency
- Team player with excellent communication skills and no drama attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with GE Logic E10, Trophons, and Parks Flolab ultrasound equipment
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Philips Intellispace PACS
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology in OB/GYN, vascular, and general ultrasound
- Ability to write detailed exam reports and follow radiologist protocols
- Time management skills to complete exams within allotted timeframes
