Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 18:45 - 07:15, every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-volume Level II trauma center
- Deliver comprehensive care for trauma, stroke, and acute medical emergencies using advanced skills
- Collaborate with a welcoming, team-oriented staff to ensure positive patient experiences
- Utilize Cerner documentation system and maintain up-to-date patient boards
- Float within the ED as needed, adapting to various sections and patient acuity levels
Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency setting
- Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
- Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in emergency nursing, trauma care, and stroke management
- Proficient with Cerner EHR system
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
