Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate critical care to medical ICU patients managing complex conditions
• Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and advanced cardiac rhythms
• Administer critical care medications including sedatives, paralytics, and vasopressors
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for bedside procedures like chest tubes and intubations
• Perform bedside shift reporting to ensure seamless patient handoffs
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital needs

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Medical ICU experience in a large facility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and flexibility
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Critical care pharmacology including sedation and vasopressor management
• Central line management and troubleshooting
• Proficient with Cerner documentation system
